Frequently asked questions.

Why choose a family care home?

Family care homes are nestled in traditional neighborhoods, making the transition to assisted living a lot smoother for your loved one. Family care homes provide care to up to 6 residents at a time (larger facilities 25-100), which means family care homes have a higher staff to resident ratio than larger facilities. This gives caregivers the ability to get to know your loved one’s needs and personality.

Will Serenity Falls Family Care Home accept residents who have dementia?

Absolutely. We understand that many people in the elderly community have dementia and we are fully-equipped to provide care, supervision, and activities that cater to your loved one’s unique needs.

Will the rate increase if my loved one’s level of care changes?

No. Your loved one’s rate will not increase based on a change in their level of care.

Does Serenity Falls Family Care Home accept Medicaid/VA benefits?

We currently do not accept Medicaid/VA benefits. Please reach out to your local department of health and human services (DHHS) agency who can provide a list of care homes/facilities who accept these benefits.
